pub enum MotionPreference {
Full,
Crossfade,
Snap,
}Expand description
How much of the described motion actually runs.
Resolution follows the crate’s customization order: this default → the
application’s installed policy → per-surface overrides where a
component exposes one. The OS reduce-motion signal composes with the
policy and can only restrict: under reduce motion the effective
preference is at least Crossfade, never less —
the policy may choose Snap, but nothing wins motion
back from the OS signal.
Variants§
Full
Everything the policy describes: travel, springs, and loops.
Crossfade
Comprehension-aiding opacity only, at the quick tempo: no travel, no springs, no stagger delays, and no repeating loops beyond progress indication.
Snap
State changes land in one frame.
